“ We always get Verazzanos famous Bianca's pizza, hands down the best pizza around but tonight we sat out on the deck and had the calamari too. Best calamari I've ever had. The light crunchy texture, the meaty pieces of squid and then dipped in their lemon caper aoli. Crazy!!! My compliments to the chef!!!I'm serious it's the best! Oh and the hard cider I hard...ice cold, delicious! ”

“ We went out to dinner at our good friends, favorite local restaurant. Definitely worth a try, if you've never been. From the beginning, the service from Tommy was amazing. He's not only the server, he is a performer, describing each item on the menu, thoroughly describing the specials, and all aspects of the preparation. The ambience in this place, is excellent. Very traditional, neighborhood, comfort food, excellent vibe! We each tried something different, I had the chicken parmigiana, my wife had sea scallops in a bed of arugula with a bacon or fig jam. Our friends had the vegetarian puttanesca and one of the evening specials, short ribs. Check out the photos! The only one I missed, was the short ribs, as my friend dug in immediately and started destroying them. He couldn't wait any longer. Taste, seasoning, preparation was excellent. I could only eat half of the chicken parmigiana. It was a lot! We also had some of the Italian red wine, I believe it was a Chianti. It was recommended by Tommy, and it was very good. It was a very modest price red wine. Looking forward to visiting again, SOON! ”

“ Still love me a good date night at Verrazano's! Our first date night here though with the waiter we had will make every other waiter seem boring. Service was good, the guy kept refilling our water (even when we were leaving) and whomever brought our food was better at upselling than the waiter herself. My husband loved his pasta it was flavorful and full of different protein. My risotto was some of the best I've ever had and of course what gave it the extra star was the lobster cream sauce on it. My seafood was also cooked perfectly. Sad there was no tiramisu, but when the waitstaff explained it never gets ordered when they make it I have to understand. **suggestion** have a weekly newsletter and roll out tiramisu one time a month?!! Or sell tiramisu by the pan and offer for your biggest fans to pre purchase it! ”
